Designing and Building the Future of Spadina—Fort York with Ken Greenberg

We’re very excited to announce our next Speaker Series. Join us on Wednesday, February 24 @ 7PM for a discussion on the design and building of the future of Spadina—Fort York with Ken Greenberg.

Ken is an urban designer, teacher, writer, former Director of Urban Design and Architecture for the City of Toronto and Principal of Greenberg Consultants. He also serves on the boards of the Bentway Conservancy, and Ontario Place for All among many others.

 

In 2020, he was made a Member of the Order of Canada and given an honorary Doctor of Laws from the U of T. He has numerous other awards including a number for his work on the Bentway.

Ken will join us for a discussion on the built form in Spadina—Fort York, including his work on the Bentway and Sidewalk Labs. We'll also discuss the significant opportunity that is before us with Ontario Place and Exhibition Place. As these huge properties are being reimagined, we must ask ourselves what we want the city's waterfront to look like for decades to come. 

 

This event will include an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
